 If mountain biking etc is not your style, then how about basking in the mountain air whilst enjoying 30 degrees centigrade by the pool. Some resorts have out door facilities - which are ideal for the long summer days.

The Bansko International Jaz Festival

Taking place every year in the main square of the ancient town of Bansko, this international jazz festival has been branded "the music of the free people". It the type of festival where musicians from around the world are found playing in cafes and bars.

This year (and previous years) festival guests had free of charge entrance to view all performances. It has become tradition that the daily stage performances go on and dissolve into jam sessions and improvisations at the pubs and discos.

This year's program beat all previous successes! It gave an excellent mixture of musical emotions and rhythms from 3 different continents. The festival guests will have it all: classic, blues, fusion, Latin, nu-jazz, gipsy jazz, R&B, soul, afro-beat and other jazz styles.

The event charges the air with a huge positive emotion that make the fans remember every festival till the next year's one.
