Aspen Golf is a modern, well designed and attractive development offering a wide range of facilities (see below), and is situated within walking distance of the stunningly designed Ian Woosnam golf course. Located about 100 miles north of the capital of Sofia, the town of Razlog (13,500 inhabitants, 825 metres above sea level), lies in the Razlog valley and is surrounded by three majestic mountain ranges - Rila to the north, Pirin to the south and the Rhodopes to the east. Razlog is very well connected with excellent public transport making Bansko, Blagoevgrad, Sofia, Gotse Delchev, Velingrad and many more places within easy reach.
The advantages of being based in Razlog when compared to Bansko are numerous and include:
  1. The Aspen Golf facilities are superior to all but the best hotels in the town of Bansko (see below for full list of Aspen Golf facilities)
  2. The Resort is based in Razlog which is only 10 minutes drive from the Ski lift in Bansko. This drive allows you to get away from it all, as the apartment is in a stunning location with amazing views. Very few hotels in Bansko are close enough to allow you the opportunity to walk to the ski lift so why not go a bit further and enjoy the countryside rather then a noisy town. For those trips back into town for the evening - it is only a short and cheap taxi / shuttle ride away.
  3. The views from the complex are stunning (surrounded by mountains and fields, and other equally attractive hotels / apartment hotels)
  4. The Resort has outside open spaces with trees and plants, which you cannot find in many Banko hotels
  5. The Resort is only meters away from the Bansko Golf Course, which is an 18 hole par 72 golf course, with horse riding facilities and a driving range, including the Club House - a fantastic restaurant and bar
  6. All adjacent hotels in the area of Aspen Golf are high end, with great facilities including bars and restaurant - just in case you fancy a chance from your on site facilities.
